Plaster Group Agile consultants Grant Beck and Shama Bole conducted a half-day Agile training session at a Seattle-based healthcare company last week. The request came from the client as a follow up ‘refresher’ to training Plaster Group provided earlier this year. Our Agile team is thrilled that client feedback was that the training ” exceeded expectations.” Just as a note, what makes PG Agile training unique is that we not only cover the basics, but target it to specific client needs and concerns.
Plaster Group had another great time at this year’s Rise Up Against Homeless Youth Luncheon hosted by ROOTS Young Adult Shelter at the University of Washington. This event featured speakers who drew a very relatable picture of the problems faced by homeless youth, and shed light on the enormous impact ROOTS and its volunteers makes in Seattle. It was very exciting to witness how much the luncheon has grown since its inauguration last year, and find out that this year’s attendance paid for nearly 2,600 guest-over-night stays (that’s two months’ operation) at the shelter! Please visit the ROOTS website to find out more about how you can volunteer or contribute in other ways.
