Founder & CEO
Shawn founded Plaster Group in January 2008 on the premise of serving clients with more experienced consultants at a reasonable cost while providing best-in-class account management. With over 15 years of experience in business and technology consulting, Shawn is a seasoned executive with a proven track record of developing strong partnerships with clients, employees and recruits. He has led Plaster Group to substantial year-over-year top line growth while maintaining a strong culture of career development for his leadership team. Prior to Plaster Group, Shawn spent 11 years with Accenture working with software in a variety of different capacities: software implementation, product development and product marketing. He has a Master’s degree in Accounting from the University of Missouri and a Bachelor’s degree in Business from the University of Alaska.
Client Service Director
Shama is a seasoned Project Manager with a background in Business Intelligence and Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS). She has over 15 years' experience at a variety of organizations including Starbucks, Gap Inc., JP Morgan Chase, and a large Seattle non-profit, excelling across a range of responsibilities including requirements gathering, gap analysis, specification and design documentation, business process and workflow mapping, project management and scrum master, testing (unit, system, UAT), and user training. Shama holds certifications as an Agile Certified Practioner (PMI-ACP) from the PMI and a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) from the Scrum Alliance, and is an known for excellent communication skills, driving for effective solutions, and maintaining excellent business relationships.
Client Service Director
Alister brings experience in complex delivery programs focusing on CRM, Order Management and integrated systems, leveraging both custom and packaged solutions. Though centered on Business Analysis, Functional Design, QA Management and Project/Program Management, he also has extensive experience with the end-to-end solutions delivery process. Alister holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science (awarded with Distinction) from the University of Bath (UK) and built his delivery experience at Accenture consulting with Fortune 500 companies in the UK and North America.
Client Service Director
Brian Kaye is a results-driven technology architecture and project delivery leader with more than 12 years’ experience in Big 4 Consulting. A professional who works well with diverse groups of people in self-directed and team environments, he possesses strong communication skills and the ability to translate complex information between technical and non-technical audience. Brian is known for his leadership skills and his consistent track record of progressively increasing responsibility. He possesses strong business and technical acumen with 20 year’s experience in all phases of program and project lifecycle including scoping, estimating, planning, scheduling, reporting, risk management, execution, personnel leadership, and development. His cross-industry experience implementing technology and process change at numerous clients has allowed Brian to develop an extensive knowledge of the tools and methods required to successfully deliver and support large complex technical initiatives.
Data & Aanalytics Practice Area Director / Client Service Director
Ted has been involved in Business Intelligence, Data Warehouse and Data Quality initiatives for over 15 years. As a leader of BI/DW programs at Expedia and Outerwall he gained first-hand experience in the opportunities and challenges that organizations face when trying to initiate, expand, or revitalize their BI/DW initiatives. Ted is known for establishing effective partnerships between business users and technology teams – technical teams benefit from his ability to "go deep" in technical discussions, and stakeholders appreciate his customer focus and talent for effectively communicating across all levels of business and technical audiences. He is a Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) and Certified Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP), both at the Master Level; he is also a board member for the Seattle chapter of The Data Warehouse Institute (TDWI), and is on the advisory board for the Healthcare Analytics certificate program at the University of Washington.
Agile Solutions Practice Area Director
Grant is Plaster Group's Agile Transformation Practice Director. He is a Business Intelligence professional specializing in Agile Coaching and Agile Frameworks - an experienced leader helping teams adapt to the Agile SCRUM software development methodology by coaching teams and individuals during the transition. He is known for excellent customer service and delivering results, with over ten years of experience in technical, functional and business analysis roles creating reporting solutions for clients that include Starbucks, Washington Mutual, and a large Seattle non-profit. Grant is an ICAgile certified Agile Coach (ICP-AC) with additional certifications as an Agile Certified Practioner (PMI-ACP) from the PMI and a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) / Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) from the Scrum Alliance.
Supply Chain Solutions Practice Director
A passionate supply chain professional, Brian has over 12 years experience in high-tech supply chain activities. He has demonstrated leadership in many areas including supply chain process engineering, reverse logistics planning and program management, network design and re-design, postponement cost modeling and implementation, e-Commerce solution development, inventory optimization, procurement, customer / vendor relationship management, and cross-cultural team creation and development. He has proven ability to work at all levels of the business, communicating effectively to C-Level executives as well as frontline users. He is able to bridge the strategy implementation gap by processing the high level vision of the corporation into organizational strategic directives, providing solutions that enable the business objectives and tactical direction to frontlines that gives purpose to their daily work. Brian earned a MBA in Supply Chain from North Carolina State University, has lived in Seattle since 2010 and is a supply chain department advisor at CWU.
Director of Recruiting
A career recruiter, Elan has developed a rich network of industry professionals and experience in fast-paced companies. He has filled several hundred positions across multiple industries including Health Care, High Tech, Gaming, Finance, Mortgage, Software, Telecommunications and Wireless. He possesses an uncanny ability to match client needs with top market talent.
Director of Business Development
Joe has worked in the management consulting industry for the past 20 years. Prior to joining Plaster Group, he started his career with Accenture and focused on large system implementations, process improvement projects, and operations outsourcing. Later, he moved to Point B and worked with clients across finance, high-tech, and healthcare industries in the Seattle area. Joe is our Business Development Director focused on working with clients to understand their business and determine how Plaster Group can help meet their needs.
