Grant is a business technology professional specializing in Agile Coaching and Agile Frameworks - an experienced leader helping teams adapt to the Agile SCRUM software development methodology by coaching teams and individuals during the transition. He is known for excellent customer service and delivering results, with over ten years of experience in technical, functional and business analysis roles creating reporting solutions for clients that include Starbucks, Washington Mutual, and a large Seattle non-profit. Grant is an ICAgile certified Agile Coach (ICP-ACC) and Agile Team Facilitator (ICP-ATF) with additional certifications as an Agile Certified Practioner (PMI-ACP) from the PMI and a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) / Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) from the Scrum Alliance.
Aki has been an Agile practitioner since 2002 and a Certified Scrum Master since 2010. She specializes in Agile coaching, and has helped several organizations transform into high-functioning Agile teams, using XP, Scrum, and Kanban. Aki's background includes Boeing, IBM Global Services, and Cisco Systems. Aki enjoys learning from others in the Agile community, and is active in Agile Open NW, BeyondAgile, and was a presenter at Agile 2015 in Washington DC.
Shama is a seasoned Project Manager with a background in Business Intelligence and Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS). She has over 15 years' experience at a variety of organizations including Starbucks, Gap Inc., JP Morgan Chase, and a large Seattle non-profit, excelling across a range of responsibilities including requirements gathering, gap analysis, specification and design documentation, business process and workflow mapping, project management and scrum master, testing (unit, system, UAT), and user training. Shama holds certifications as an Agile Certified Practioner (PMI-ACP) from the PMI and a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) from the Scrum Alliance, and is known for her excellent communication skills, driving for effective solutions, and maintaining excellent business relationships.
Robert Smith is an accomplished Senior PMO Director and Development Operations leader with solid experience guiding enterprise-level program initiatives. Certified as a Scrum Master and SAFe Agilist, with an extensive understanding of Agile methodology implementations including, SCRUM, Kanban, XP, and SAFe. He is-well versed in leading organizational wide change management initiative in scaling up Agile practices at an enterprise level. Robert is acknowledged for his ability to lead geographically diversified enterprise programs and teams through all phases of project and software development lifecycles. He is proficient at strategic planning, coordinating, and executing large-scale enterprise transformations that align program goals with overarching organizational objectives, producing positive bottom-line results.
With a strong business acumen and a deep technical expertise, Sal excels linking business to technology. He is an experienced Agile practicioner certified as a Scrum Master and SAFe Agilist. Sal has achieved superior results in various roles including program and project management, product management, business and requirements analysis, solution architecture, process engineering, and global marketing and strategy. Sal’s educational background consists of degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering, MBA with marketing distinction, and certifications in Project Manager (PMI PMP®) and Six Sigma (ASQ).
