SharePoint Business Analyst

Plaster Group’s SharePoint Business Analysts work as part of a team to migrate content from legacy systems to the most recent SharePoint 2013 Platform. To do this, they gather business requirements for specific SharePoint needs, apply predefined standards of what can be done out-of-the-box with SharePoint, and customize SharePoint sites to ensure successful deployment.

SharePoint Business Analysts partner with end-users and fellow Business Analysts/Configurators to distill business requirements into a workable solution. They document business, technical, and functional requirements in order to ensure quality knowledge transfer to clients. They create a new SharePoint platform by migrating content from intranet legacy portals and configure it using its out-of-the-box and customized capabilities. Throughout this process, SharePoint Business Analysts communicate status, risks, issues, and key decisions to end-users and Project Managers and may handle multiple projects at once.
