Plaster Group held their second Agile Round Table on Thursday, October 1st, at Plaster Group HQ in downtown Seattle.
“Our clients really make this event exceptional. We have participation from industry leaders and Agile practitioners with different backgrounds from across the Seattle area”, explained co-host Grant Beck. “The attendees engage in a rich exchange of ideas and experiences as a result of those varied perspectives.”
Some of the topics discussed included, “Architecture in Agile Projects”, “Implementing DevOps in an Agile environment”, and “Managing cross-team and cross-system dependencies.”
Co-host Shama Bole explains, ”We follow a Lean Coffee format, allowing out attendees to set the agenda and thereby ensuring that the topics being discussed are the ones that resonate best with the entire group.”
Feedback has been incredibly positive each time this event has been held, and this time was no exception. As one attendee stated, “For me the value was in having the wide range of perspectives on Agile from the diverse group of industries and sizes. I would certainly attend future meetings. “
